Ross Williams of the Melbourne Institute, commenting on the 2010–2011 draft, stated that the proposed methodology would favour more focused "science-based institutions with relatively few undergraduates" at the expense of institutions with more comprehensive programmes and undergraduates, but also stated that the indicators were "academically robust" overall and that the use of scaled measures would reward productivity rather than overall influence. Steve Smith, president of Universities UK, praised the new methodology as being "less heavily weighted towards subjective assessments of reputation and uses more robust citation measures," which "bolsters confidence in the evaluation method." David Willetts, British Minister of State for Universities and Science praised the rankings, noting that "reputation counts for less this time, and the weight accorded to quality in teaching and learning is greater." In 2014, David Willetts became chair of the TES Global Advisory Board, responsible for providing strategic advice to Times Higher Education.

No problem, hope these strategies help Hi Jame, However, the biggest contributing factors to a backlink’s effect on your rank is the website it’s coming from, measured by the acronym ART: authority, a measure of a site’s prestige/reliability — .edu and .gov sites are particularly high-authority); relevance, a measure of how related the site hosting the link is to the content; and trust, which is not an official Google metric, but relates to how much a site plays by the rules of search (i.e. not selling links) and provides good content.

Great advice Huyen! Nobody will find your graphics unless you put them in front of as many eyeballs as possible. Getting your images to the top of Google image search results is a surefire way to achieve this. If you are new to SEO and wondering how to make your graphics rank higher, take a look at this article by Rand Fishkin that pretty much nails the issue.
An easy method to earn quality backlinks is to write testimonials for websites you are using. You'll spend only a few minutes, and you can earn a link from the homepage of an authoritative website. As long as you are a customer of that product, there’s a high possibility you can get a link in exchange for a testimonial.
Given my stance, you can imagine my surprise when my colleagues and I polled 628 different businesses and discovered: When building backlinks for your website, you should always make sure that you seek out high-authority targets that are close to your niche or market. If, for example, you have a blog about SEO and you're creating links on sites that talk about food and movies, then those links won't be of any use to you. In fact, as mentioned before, they may even get you on Google's bad side.

This can be a bunch of images. Or an infographic. Or a video. On many blogs, the title for blog posts is still “Blog title » Blog Archive » Keyword rich post title” or “Blog title » Keyword rich post title”. For your WordPress blog to get the traffic it deserves, this should be the other way around, for two reasons:

No have written this kind of article dude Hi Nathan…your strategies are money. Thanks for taking the time to put this content together for us. Was thinking that expired domains in the Merger tactic could be treated as broken link campaigns just as easily and without having to register the domains or pay for any type of hosting fee as well. Would be easy to notify the sites linking to it that a site they are linking to is expired and most likely about to be registered by a SEO practitioner for nefarious reasons. Then give them the page the link is on along with a screenshot of where it is. Of course along with a simple head-sup about similar content that we feel compliments their own content. I’m very interested to get your thoughts on any of this. I respect you as one of the top three link builders in the country so your opinion is of great value to me.
Top 10 Universities in the UK - International Rankings 2018 Organic traffic is the traffic you get when people follow links from a search engine results page and land on your site. Organic traffic contrasts with referral traffic which comes from links on other sites, and paid traffic, which is traffic resulting from ads. You can boost organic traffic by using content marketing, and by optimizing that content with SEO. Well-optimized content is more likely to get a high search ranking, and attract more clicks and traffic.

Having a micro-influencer publish a blog post on your site can help to increase your web traffic, as they are likely to share the post with their large audience. It can also help to add more variety to your content and show your visitors that you are active in your field. Alternatively, you could ask the influencer to mention your business in their own review or round-up post, or you could turn an interview with the influencer into a blog post that is likely to get traffic.
