The concept is simple: It’s true that SEO is getting harder and harder. I remember times when buying some XRumer or PBN links was a great success… 🙂 Thanks for the useful stuff. July 11, 2017 at 12:49 pm Thanks for sharing your tier 1 link buidling strategies Nathan. . I want to share my experience with “building” backlinks for one of my blogs at it might be a helpful insight for your readers. It is in a low to moderate competition niche, but all those sites that came on the first page of google were not dedicated to that particular subject. In other words they just had a post about it, but that’s all – sites with high authority. So I decided to build up a blog from scratch that is entirely dedicated on the niche – or micro niche blog that only contains content on pretty much few keywords. I rolled up my sleeves and did about 95 articles – some long enough (800-1000 words) others much shorter. As you can imagine I only focused on putting up some content. After 1 month and a half, for one of the keywords I’m on 7th position in google, and for another major keyword I’m on the 11th position in google – NO BACK LINKS building whatsoever. Backlinks back in the day gave “juice to your website” not anymore. Like Gotch mentioned its to brand out your website. I agree with you. You must give a good value to the website. Thanks for the reminder Gotch! looking foward to more articles like this one! Thida says: Jump up ^ Bekhradnia, Bahram. "International university rankings: For good or ill?" (PDF). October 7, 2015 at 8:25 pm (10)Stop Divorce Visitorz I am just wondering; for lower competition niches/keywords a 3rd tier certainly isn’t needed? Do’s and Don’ts for Getting to Work on a Bicycle I’m beginning to wonder if Google has tinkered with it’s code to the point where relevance is no longer the target … or the result. Case in point, a web site whose owner has removed every bit of content. Just a Home page with 1 sentence and a large background image. Yet this web site still ranks – first page – for its previous content keywords – even after almost a year. And it’s not the only result where I’ve uncovered a Google SER that points to a page with “0” content. Why isn’t the Google bot tasting to see if the bologna sandwich is “fresh”? If user engagement is paramount. If relevance is paramount. If sorting the internet as a service is what you do. Then why aren’t the results delivering on those targets? Where is the shame that should be felt for, IMO, high bounce rates that are blamed on lousy content or UI – when it could be that the search results delivered irrelevant pages?! – End Rant ; ) All July 20, 2016 at 8:30 am Very useful Information keep it up thanks for sharing Tharwat Okab says: Cisco Visual Networking Index 2017 Phone number* Generally speaking, there are 3 methods to shoot for. This was the short-and-sweet method. Try your hardest not to sound too promotional: It's of great importance that the readers of a certain site don't feel like they're being sold to. Even though your mission is to create additional awareness for your brand, products, and services, you cannot really do that by bluntly talking about yourself and your company. Nope. Your strategy should always be oriented towards producing value and giving your readers a chance to first make a connection with your knowledge and expertise, and only then with your products and services. You can mention your brand or product in your guest post, but you need to make sure that it feels organic to the whole story. Context is king! The way you structured it makes it less overwhelming, thanks! Great article Andy. Its amazing how may pages have terrible title tags. Content creation And here’s another example of a testimonial page from a DA86 site: This tool spits out dozens of LSI keywords related to your topic: If you’ve started posting regularly on social media--keep it up! An easy way to do this is to create a social media calendar and use social scheduling tool like Sprinklr or Hootsuite. Then, you can schedule a steady flow of content and remain top-of-mind for potential customers. A 1-second page delay in page load time can lead to 11% fewer page views and a 7% loss in conversions. When considering conversions that directly affect revenue, 7% starts to look like a very big number. I am new at this. I have been researching keywords and have found a few keyword phrases that nobody in the first page of Google results is even using in their Title Tag or H1 Tag. Some of the companies on the results page have a high pagerank and lots of backlinks. If I optimize for this exact keyword phrase with a new website, would I have much of a chance of getting on the first page eventually? Millions of people use search engines every day to research various topics, buy products, and go about their daily surfing activities. Search engines use keywords to help users find relevant information, and each of the major search engines has developed a unique algorithm to determine where websites are placed within the search results. When a user clicks on one of the listings in the search results, they are directed to the corresponding website and data is transferred from the website's server, thus counting the visitors towards the overall flow of traffic to that website. While some tests seem to confirm that links are followed (unless you specify otherwise), and onchange, onclick and other dynamic events executed, there are still a lot of questions. For instance, one of them is whether Google can do this only if JavaScript is embedded in the document, or whether this is possible even if it’s fetched from outside. Likewise, there are potential Ajax issues, results may depend on the complexity of the redirect, etc. Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you find it helpful!
