Brian, great post as always! Question: Do you consider authority sites (industry portals) a form of “influencer marketing?” e.g. guest blogging, etc? In some niches there are not so many individuals who are influencers (outside of journalists) but there are sites that those in the industry respect. I am in the digital video space and for me one site is actually a magazine that is building a very strong digital presence. Thanks, keep up the good work!
Keep Them Coming Back Thank you so much Nathan for sharing this awesome article with us. Basically what’s being described in yours and also most SEO blogs nowadays is that we – small operations owners – are meant to submit ourselves to endless torture, painful and inch by inch ultra-deep research to avoid the ever menacing presence of Google’s penalties, fork a fortune (both in time and money) at finding content writers, social managers, infographics creators, befriend and ask dozens people to give backlinks.
ClinicalKey Nedim, you may have to compromise if you’re targeting a non-English country. READS Thank you for the comment. I don’t use GSA anymore, so I’m the wrong guy to ask!

By the way i am starting a youtube channel on kids entertainment how can i find trending searches ,there are very less information on reditt and other forums I don’t agree with “avoid web2.0 in tier1” because of high risk of getting penalized. Web2.0 are great and penalties were given not because of using web2.0 but HOW they were used (content, links, anchors, etc. etc…). Diversity is the key but please don’t write web2.0 are bad;)

India English What do you think I need to do to rank in google.com? Thanks for your help before That’s a good question, Greg. Honestly, I’m not sure they look at that level of detail (although they might).
April 3rd, 2018 at 12:19 pm Traffic from industry blogs is much more targeted than traffic from other sites. I find all of your information very very informative, and there is a lot of great stuff here. Thank you for taking the time to help us out. The one thing that is still unclear to me is what links are really the best right now? I thought guest posts are, but I am seeing conflicting information on that online. That guest posts are “spammy”. It just seems like you need links, but every time I attempt to do something I dig a little deeper and it’s all contaminated now. Ranging all the way back to 2014 there are reviews and posts saying how garbage guest posting is now.
Antonio, The assumptions that I’d make to explain why this is the case have less to do with the keyword’s presence in the page title being a strong on-page SEO factor, but rather having a relatively large influence on the click-through rate of the search snippet.
You are providing really awesome content. My question is on blog post update. When I update any blog post by making few changes in it, I change the post published date. So the question is if someone has stolen my content between old and new publish date, then according to Google which content is original?
I need more traffic! That’s the best kind of traffic there is. Repeat the process with other influencers, and you’ll find endless opportunities to publish content on third-party websites.
